Ray Harris

Ray is an energetic local entrepreneur of two successful service oriented businesses who still devotes most of his time to helping individuals recover from addiction. Many of those he serves would remain homeless without his guidance, patience and experience. Ray's perspective is one of empowerment-not doing for an individual, but teaching the individual how to do for him/herself. He is the liason/advocate for the people released into his custody by the courts of Pinellas, Pasco, and Hillsbourgh counties court systems and aides in leading them into becoming recovering addicts who can then begin to become productive members of society. Ray is also a veteran from the Vietnam era who selflessly volunteers to work with other veterans who are at risk of homelessness. He continues to aid in the recovery and transition of recovering addicts through his currently held position on the board of the West Care Foundation and as a founding member of the board, interim chairman of the board and CEO of Simply Hope.

Tommy Gillis

Tommy has been involved with the St. Petersburg Dream Center as a member and a volunteer since December of 2002. He has been a full time employee from November of 2005 thru March of 2006 and then again from December of 2006 to current date. His employment has been as a lead case manager/assistant director of “Project Access” A Department of Labor Grant targeting ex-offenders and low income individuals and currently hold the same position with the Pinellas Re-entry Project an initiative funded through the Pinellas Board of County Commissioner budgeted to the Pinellas County Sherriff’s office. This start up initiative is to address ex-offender barriers to positively effect recidivism. Tommy is cleared as a Practitioner at the Pinellas County Jail and have a limited clearance to visit DOC facilities. He himself is a rehabilitated ex-offender and personally understands the barriers that many face of the road back to self sufficiency.

Tonya Cardinali

Tonya Cardinali is currently Marketing Manager for Senior Home Care, home health company, overseeing all of their marketing, branding and public relations efforts. Prior to working for Senior Home Care, Tonya worked for CCS Medical, a DME provider, where she was the Marketing Manager for their Specialty Products (including Ostomy, Urology and Wound Care) and Managed Care divisions. She has also worked in the marketing and advertising departments for Goodwill Industries-Suncoast, Sears Roebuck, VanFossan and Associates and Digital Services Network. Tonya has a BSBA in Advertising from Youngstown State University and nine years marketing experience. Her specialty is implementing new programs and strategies to drive revenue in order to meet or exceed company goals.
