"The name "Simply Hope" says it all, and it gave me just that! I came to Simply Hope not really knowing what to expect. I learned about responsibility. I had chores, and if they weren't done there were consequences. I had a curfew. I had rules to abide by, and I had to pay my rent every Friday. I had to go to meetings. I had authority to answer to. All these things might be irrelevant to the normal person, but to me it was what I needed. I did drugs most of my life, so this extra guidance got me ready to go and live out on my own and have responsibility. I learned so much living there. I learned respect of others. I learned accountability. I learned there are consequences for my actions. I learned responsibility. Today, I wouldn't be in my own place, working a full time job without my experience at Simply Hope. I feel that living there got me ready to move on. I feel it gave me the hope I could one day do it on my own. Truth is... I am. I left Simply Hope over a month ago. My life has changed forever through that experience."

"I wanted to tell you guys how much respect that I have for what you are doing with Simply Hope... Not often do we come across people who genuinely care and take the initiative to make a difference in people’s lives. My tenure at Simply Hope has been life changing and I feel blessed to have met each of you... Thank you for helping me get my life back."

"I would like to thank you for the opportunity to stay in your community for the last five and one half months. The steps and actions to take to lead a sober and clean life have been unknown to me for longer than I care to admit. What you gave me was time, time away from the demands of everyday life and the influences that are around every corner. I found out that I do care. I do want to see my children grow up. I do want a relationship that's more than surface needs. I do want to live in this world as a clean and sober productive member of our society."

"There is no doubt in my mind that this has changed my life. I've grown a lot more than I expected to even with the rough patches I hit. I've still got a lot of work to do and I'll be changing throughout my life but none of this would've been possible without the program."

"I just wanted to say thanks for giving me another chance and believing in me."
".I appreciate not only what you have done for me but also everyone that comes to Simply Hope... I'm doing well and making meetings."
"On June 16th I came to simply hope, I was broken, overwhelmed, had no money or job and was drained from happiness and hope. Since being at Simply Hope, I've learned how to be responsible and accountable for my actions. I've learned how to deal with emotions and not act on them. This program has changed my life in so many ways. I'm so very grateful to everyone at Simply Hope because without this program I wouldn't be how I am today."

"Simply Hope has given me an opportunity to turn my life around. At 25 years old, I was irresponsible, had lost everything including my fiancé due to drug overdose and I was completely broken. Simply Hope taught me how to live, to take care of my responsibilities, changed my thought process and gave me a peace of mind. I went into this program broken and with nothing and I came out shining. I have maintained the same two jobs for six months. I am working on getting my license back and I went further in the program to the graduate house and am now getting a place of my own. I am forever grateful for this program."

"Thank you so much for allowing me the chance to be a part of this program. I truly don't think any of this would've been a possibility without Simply Hope. It has been a turning stone in my life and taught me many valuable lessons; it has allowed me to turn my life around and given me a clear vision of my future."

"I remember when I was in jail and my lawyer told me I was going to Simply Hope. I flipped and was about to say screw everything, but I gave it a chance and after experiencing the program; I realized it's not as bad as people assume. I would recommend any addict that needs help to go to Simply Hope. It's definitely a great learning experience to get your life back on track. I'm so very blessed and thankful you gave me those chances. It was a huge eye opener for me. People, places and things are huge problems when trying to get and stay clean. I'm going to take it one day at a time and continue to go to meetings, use my support group, call my sponsor, etc. It is not worth throwing everything I just accomplished down the drain. Now that I have a year clean, I see a clear path and it feels great. It's truly a blessing to be clean. Today I have a choice and I would not have been able to do it myself. Thank you for giving me the ability to get my life back on track and giving me the ability to have a choice today."

"Making that phone call to voluntarily put myself into Simply Hope was probably the scariest decision I ever made in my life. It was a scary decision that turned into one of the biggest blessings of my life, up to this point. My addiction has taken me to the depths of hell and back. Now that I have a little time clean and gained some clarity, I can see the program has saved my life. A bright future is ahead of me as long as I continue to do the right things for the right reasons. I've overdosed, tried to commit suicide, not to mention the many more degrading things to myself and others in my active addiction. In the course of the little time I've spent in the program, I've gained some self-respect and dignity. Living with four other women has been a challenge. Today it is those very girls who are my biggest cheerleaders and source of support. Simply Hope has given me not only a glimmer of hope but a life changing experience that I will treasure for the rest of my days. My aspirations are to give back what was so freely given to me. Probably the biggest lesson the program and recovery has taught me is to be true to myself."

A heartfelt note from the family of a client...
"I want to take this opportunity to tell you how much I appreciate what you do for these young men and women. I hope you know that they are grateful and thankful for what you have done for them. Some may not realize how much until later in life, when they go for that job without a felony tagged on, some may look back years from now at that one person who believed in them and took a chance. Some may look at their young son and hope there is someone like you who will be there for him if he takes the wrong turn in the road to guide him back to that narrow road. Thank you for answering a desperate mother’s prayer and restoring HOPE in my son. May God bless you and keep you encouraged in all that you do"
